Layla Taj is an internationally acclaimed Egyptian dance artist and cultural presenter known for her elegant interpretations of Middle Eastern dance traditions.

She performed in Egypt for five years under professional contract, where she studied and performed within the authentic cultural environment that shaped the art of Egyptian dance. Throughout her career she has appeared before ambassadors, dignitaries, heads of state, and kings, earning recognition for performances that combine artistry with cultural authenticity.

Layla Taj has represented Egyptian culture at major international venues, including appearances at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City on behalf of the Egyptian Tourist Authority. Cultural venues featuring her work frequently draw large audiences, with performances known to sell out rapidly and attract standing-room crowds.

She has also participated in cultural events connected to the world-renowned exhibition of King Tutankhamun’s treasures, where she was invited as a guest of the celebrated Egyptian archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass.
